Marky has quickly gained traction in AI content creation, with positive feedback across social media and blogs. Recently, a successful launch on AppSumo highlighted its popularity. What is Predis?

Founded in 2020 by Aakash Kerawat, Akshay Karangale, and Tanmay Ratnaparkhe, Predis.ai is an AI-powered app for creating, scheduling, and analyzing social media content. It generates engaging photos, videos, and text that resonate with audiences, alongside advanced tools like short video creation and background removal for e-commerce posts. Predis also offers analytics for user content and competitor analysis, allowing businesses to monitor rivals. Tailored for e-commerce business owners, freelancers, and content creators, Predis combines a user-friendly interface with powerful, professional features.

Marky vs Predis: User experience

‍In a nutshell, Marky was easier to use, and beginners could make the most of their tools. Predis, on the other hand, has more advanced features and tools for people with more experience with these platforms, but they were able to keep the UI basic and easy to browse.

Main function and tools:

Brand set up

Creating your brand is critical on both platforms because AI is dependent on the business description you provide, and all generated contents are relevant to your business.

Setting up a brand with Marky is simple: provide your company description, logo, headshot, and color palettes, tone, language, writing sample, topics, posting schedule and your themes. 

Brand setup with Predis is simple; you'll stay on the dashboard and find everything you need on a single page, including the business name, color palette, and tone. You can even change your timezone to a different location. Integration and social connection are also available on another tab. It also lets you upload assets and templates.

‍Content Generation‍

Both platforms provide simple ways for creating content, and all generated content is based on your business description; the more descriptive you are, the more accurate the content.

After you've created your brand, Marky will automatically generate a set of contents based on your business description and selected themes, which you can then share immediately to your connected social media accounts or save to drafts for editing later. They have a Full Screen edit page, which provides you more editing options including adding videos, elements, and images.

They currently offer 28 themes to choose from, which is a decent amount. In this example, I used Memes5, Sleek, and Carousel, and the results were satisfactory! With the Canva-like full-screen editor, I can polish the content to perfection.

Creating posts using Predis is quite advanced; you can transform blog, script, and quote forms into content. You can manually specify how many posts you want to generate at once, from 1 to 7. Ai generated content is impressive!

You may edit your posts using their 28 templates, and it also allows you to upload your own, which is a significant advantage, but this may take some time. So, if you're on the move, the generated content is already excellent enough to share on social media.

Social Connect

Marky can connect with a variety of social media sites, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google Business.

Predis, on the other hand, offers additional integration, including online stores like Shopify, Squarespace, and WooCommerce, as well as social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube.

Media Library

One of Marky's most recent deployments is Media Library, which allows you to bulk upload your own photos and graphics into a single folder, and IA will prioritize these photos for inclusion on all generated content. After the release of this feature, many users were impressed. In addition, you can add certain stock images to the library and pull from a website.

Predis does not have a media library, but all uploaded photos remain accessible on the edit page, just as Canva; nevertheless, these uploaded images are not automatically used by AI when generating content.

Team Collaboration

Team: is an important aspect in AI content creation, especially if you are part of an organization where team efforts are critical; this feature simplifies the job for each member of the organization.

You can add anyone using their email as a team member in Marky; this team member has full edit access to the brand, which means they can create and edit contents, link social media, and schedule posts; they can also assist you in fine-tuning your business description if necessary.

Giving access to a team member in Predis includes features such as allowing them to publish or schedule posts, as well as admin rights, which are quite useful. However, the number of team members you can add with Predis is limited based on your current plan.

White Label

White labeling is an important aspect of an agency's strategy since it allows them to create their brand like they really  own the platform. Typically, it is a deal-breaker for most organizations.

Surprisingly, Marky, despite being new to the business, currently offers white label on their top-tier plan (Agency Plan). I heard it was only launched in the second week of August. This allows the agency owner to replace the Marky logo with their own brand and build a simple domain that can be shared with their clients. The white-labeled link removes any Marky branding, which is extremely nice!

On the other hand, Predis does not have white label on their main platform; I attempted to contact their customer care about white label, but they directed me to try the Predis SDK, which I looked at but appears to be on Predis' development side, which I do not understand. If anyone has used Predis' white label, please let us know.

Both Marky and Predis offer live customer assistance, but Marky's is exceptional; their support responded to inquiries in less than 3 minutes, which I think extremely good! You can tell you're talking to a human since they deliver personalized communications like screenshots and real-time recordings. Predis also provides good customer service; however, you may receive a response from the representative after nearly an hour. You may get the impression that you are speaking with a robot because their responses appear to be a template with a link to their help desk articles; yet, they are helpful.

Analytics

Analytics is essential for all business owners since it allows them to track the performance of their social media activity and posts. This report contains social site traffic, like and comment counts, and total engagement for the entire page.

Marky does not currently have Analytics, but it is on their roadmap, along with other important features for AI content creation. I heard Marky could launch the Analytics report functionality in a few weeks! This will provide significant value to them.

Not only does Predis provide Analytics, but it also includes competitor analysis, which is quite beneficial for tracking the performance of your brand's competitors. You can review the total number of posts, distribution pattern, and followers.
